I'm thinking of changing the name of Look...Umm...Bugs!!! to Those Whimsical Arthropods! Chiefly it's because LUB, while a somewhat amusing title, is difficult to abbreviate or say to people. Also, I just plain like Those Whimsical Arthropods! better. It includes possibly my favorite word: WHIMSICAL! Also I'm going to change the panel layout so it's about the size of an actual newspaper strip. Not for any particular reason, it just seems better.
I was going to write a new Tube of Boob for the recently begun TV season but I JUST DON'T FUCKING FEEL LIKE IT OKAY?!? Anyway I was going to talk about the Prison Break opener (They didn't kill Gretchen after all! WOO! I've been waiting so long now for her to finally get killed but now they can do it properly! With a flesh-eating virus or something similarly gruesome! I was so afraid they'd kill off Tea Bag, he's the best, he does awful awful things and is wildly entertaining while he does them!); I might've commented on the Terminator premiere (I knew that one lady was a robot the SECOND I saw her. SOME DISGUISE YOU STUPID-ASS ROBOT LADY.); and I would've announced that I'm not bothering with Bones this season because they pissed me off with last season's Zack-turns-out-to-be-Gormagon's-apprentice SHOCKER! Of course it was a SHOCKER, no one would ever have predicted an ending THAT STUPID. I'm interested to see the episodes this season where Zack returns, though, because I can't for the life of me figure out how they can write themselves out of that hole.
Last week there was some hypnotist (read: jackass) that had taken over the Student Center between my two classes so I had to sit outside for an hour and forty-five minutes. I hate being outside, I can't relax. I can't relax inside either (there's always people in there...staring at me...and my giant foam cowboy hat...THEY'RE JUST JEALOUS!!!!), but at least inside there's A/C and no wasps (sneaky bastards...how I hate them.)
Unfortunately advertisements in the Student Center today informed me that some other sort of entertainer (read: MOTHERFUCKER) will be taking over the Student Center on Thursday. DAMN THEM can't they have these stupid things on Wednesday when I'm not at that campus? Or better yet can't they use these resources for something USEFUL. The Sanford campus Student Center has Galaga, they should use the money they're paying these guys to get Galaga. It's even my favorite Galaga, the Ms. Pacman/Galaga Class of 1981 combo machine with infinite fire rate and sometimes it's set up for continues. I tried getting a ROM of it but the FUCKING THING DIDN'T WORK. All the other Galaga ROMs I got worked but they have three-shot fire limits and no continues. Also my Segasonic the Hedgehog ROM won't display properly on my screen and I can't play it anyway without a trackball. I needs a trackball.
To review: jackass, giant foam cowboy hat, THEY'RE JUST JEALOUS, MOTHERFUCKER, DAMN THEM, Galaga, FUCKING THING DIDN'T WORK, needs a trackball.
Maybe I could find a trackball at a thrift store. I swear if I had any money I'd run out of room to breathe from all the weird electronic stuff I'd buy at Thriftko. I don't know where it comes from, the other day I found what I think was the box from an artificial voicebox but I couldn't find the actual thing.
Again: trackball, Thriftko, voicebox, actual thing.
Starting today for unknown reasons Brighthouse has moved AMC to channel 48 (from 47). No big deal, but now between Turner Classic Movies on 46 and AMC on 48 there's a MYSTERY DEAD SPOT! There must be a reason...perhaps some crazy weirdo obsessed with multiples of six demanded on threat of biological warfare that they shift his favorite channel (AMC) up to 48 (6 times 8) so he could watch it without hitting himself in the balls with a hammer every commercial break (this is what he has to do whenever he watches a channel with a number not divisible by six). OR (and this is my hope) maybe Turner Classic Movies is going to spin-off a new channel...TURNER FUTURE MOVIES!!! MOVIES THAT HAVE YET TO BE MADE ON YOUR TELEVISION UNCUT AND WITHOUT COMMERCIAL INTERRUPTION WITH WITTY INFORMATIVE COMMENTARY BY FUTURE ROBERT OSBORN (HE'S A CYBORG!)!!!!!
